MISHIKA GARG

I’m Mishika Garg studying Fashion Styling and Creative Direction at Istituto Marangoni. I’m an enthusiastic and motivated fast learner, who is always up to gain exposure and experience in creative fields with a passion for fashion, art and photography. With every fashion project that I come across, the more curious this world of fashion leaves me.  It’s always made me want to become a part of this inner world, gauge deep inside and get to know all about it; the entire process from turning an idea into reality; from thought to its execution. For me, the confidence of someone who is comfortable in their own skin is fashion. I believe that fashion is so much more than the stereotypes attached to it. “It’s a world of glamour and has nothing to teach the individual on an intellectual level” The key that keeps me motivated to continue and make me well acquainted with this field is to prove those stereotypes wrong. What people don’t realise is that creativity is a virtue that is developed with time. Just like discovering gravity or coming up with a formula, developing anything new entails a large amount of effort and fashion, in its true essence,  is the ability to create something new. It is a field that has no correct answers and gives us the ability to create our own solutions. This portfolio is a virtual expression of my journey through Fashion and Art. It will non verbally communicate a part of me, my aesthetics.
